The Russian Government (“the Government”) are represented by Mr G. Matyushkin, the Representative of the Russian Federation at the European Court of Human Rights. The facts of the case, as submitted by the parties, may be summarised as follows. 1) Application no. 40439/07 The applicant brought a civil claim before the Leninskiy District Court of Ufa in 1999. After two rounds of proceedings, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan delivered a final judgment on 23 March 2007. 2) Application no. 17755/09 The applicant brought a civil claim before the justice of peace of the 6 th   Court Circuit of the Leninskiy District of Ufa in 2001. After four rounds of proceedings, the Leninskiy District Court of Ufa took a final decision on 18   September 2008. 3) Application no. 23902/09 The applicant brought a civil claim before the Sovetskiy District Court of Ufa on 22 November 2002. The proceedings ended with a final decision of the Supreme Court of the Bashkortostan of 28 October 2008. COMPLAINTS The applicants complained under Article 6 of the Convention about the length of proceedings in their cases. THE LAW By letters dated by 30 June and 5 July 2010 the applicants informed the Court that they wanted to withdraw the applications without providing any specific reasons. The Court considers that, in these circumstances, the applicants may be regarded as no longer wishing to pursue their applications, within the meaning of Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention. Furthermore, in accordance with Article 37 § 1 in fine , the Court finds no special circumstances regarding respect for human rights as defined in the Convention and its Protocols which require the continued examination of the case. In view of the above, it is appropriate to strike the case out of the list. For these reasons, the Court unanimously Decides to join the applications; Decides to strike the applications out of its list of cases.   Søren Nielsen   Nina Vajić   Registrar   President APPENDIX     No Application No Lodged on Applicant name date of birth place of residence   40439/07 06/09/2007 Kaderle Imamutdinovich IMAMUTDINOV 10/12/1935 Ufa     17755/09 10/03/2009 Tanzir Galyautdinovich GABDRAKHMANOV 05/07/1941 Ufa     23902/09 27/03/2009 Rinat Khamitovich GABITOV 01/02/1943 Ufa    Citations
