The applicants’ personal details, together with the names of their representatives are set out in the appendix. The Macedonian Government (“the Government”) were represented by their Agent, Mr K. Bogdanov. The applicants complained under different Articles of the Convention regarding different proceedings, as set out in the appendix. The relevant dates concerning the proceedings before the Court are also given in the appendix. The Court communicated all applications to the Government in respect of the length of proceedings and proposed friendly settlement. The applicants did not reply. By letters sent by registered post, the Court again asked the applicants to indicate their position on the friendly settlement proposal or to submit claims for just satisfaction within prescribed time-limits. The applicants’ attention was drawn to Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention, which provides that the Court may strike a case out of its list of cases where the circumstances lead to the conclusion that the applicant does not intend to pursue the application. The applicants received these letters on the dates set out in the appendix, but, however, failed to reply. THE LAW Having regard to the similarity of the main issues under the Convention in the above cases, the Court decides to join the applications. The Court considers that the applicants lost interest to pursue their applications, within the meaning of Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention. Furthermore, in accordance with Article 37 § 1 in fine , the Court finds no special circumstances regarding respect for human rights as defined in the Convention and its Protocols which require the continued examination of the cases. In view of the above, it is appropriate to strike the cases out of the list. For these reasons, the Court unanimously Decides to join the applications; Decides to strike the applications out of its list of cases.   André Wampach   Elisabeth Steiner   Deputy Registrar   President   Appendix   No Application No Lodged on Applicant Date of birth Place of residence Represented by Subject matter Date of first letter to the applicant Date of second letter to the applicant Second letter received by the applicant(s) on   47884/09 26/08/2009 Arslan ADEMI 16/05/1972 Skopje     Civil proceedings for determination of a trademark holder (носител на жиг) XIX П   бр.   1221/01 20   February   2013 25   April   2013 5 June 2013   25980/10 30/04/2010 Josif JOSIFOVSKI 01/01/1954 Kičevo   Trajče TOROV Administrative proceedings for pension П бр. 11694 У   бр.   3060/2007 31 January 2013 12 April 2013 23   April   2013   40789/10 16/07/2010 DIVO DIZAJN 01/01/1954 Bitola   Dragi PAŽIK Civil proceedings for compensation of damages Пс бр. 80/03 20 February 2013 25 April 2013 10 May 2013   68787/11 28/10/2011 Gošo PETROV 25/02/1994 Štip   Ubavka PETROVA 14/06/1952 Štip   Koce PETROV 11/08/1974 Čardaklija   Trajče TOROV Civil proceedings for compensation of damages and annulment of a contract П бр. 1779/02 20 February 2013 25 April 2013 10 May 2013    Citations
