The applicant was represented by Mr D.A. Karsai, a lawyer practising in Budapest. The applicant’s complaints under Articles 5 and 6 of the Convention concerning the duration of his pre-trial detention and of his trial were communicated to the Hungarian Government (“the Government”). On 3   February 2022 the applicant’s representative informed the Registry that the applicant had died on 22 November 2021 and that his application to the Court would not be pursued. THE LAW In the light of the foregoing, the Court concludes that the applicant’s heirs, if any, do not wish to pursue the application within the meaning of Article   37   §   1   (a) of the Convention. Accordingly, the case should be struck out of the list. For these reasons, the Court, unanimously, Decides to strike the application out of its list of cases.
