He was represented before the Court by Mr   M.I. Pashkovskyy, a lawyer practising in Odesa. 2.     The applicant complained under Articles 2, 3, 5 §§ 1 and 4, 6 §§ 1 and 3, 13, 14, 34 of the Convention, Article 2 of Protocol No. 4 and Article 1 of Protocol No. 7 about the denial, in 2019, of his re-entry to Ukraine following revocation of his refugee status and his trip to Afghanistan, the conditions of his stay at Odesa airport prior to his return to the United Arab Emirates and court proceedings he attempted to lodge in that connection. 3.     On 27 January 2023 the applicant’s lawyer informed the Court, in response to its request, that he had last had contact with the applicant on 21   May 2021 and had since lost contact with him for reasons unknown to the lawyer. THE LAW 4.     In the light of the foregoing, and in the absence of any special circumstances regarding respect for the rights guaranteed by the Convention or its Protocols, the Court, in accordance with Article   37   §   1   (a) of the Convention, considers that it is no longer justified to continue the examination of the application (see V.M. and Others v. Belgium (striking out) [GC], no.   60125/11, §§ 35-41, 17 November 2016). 5.     In view of the above, it is appropriate to strike the case out of the list. For these reasons, the Court, unanimously, Decides to strike the application out of its list of cases.
