These applications originated from the conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation after the occupation and annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014. The applicants primarily complained under Article 1 of Protocol No. 1 to the Convention of the deprivation of their land plots by Russian authorities in Crimea; some applicants also invoked Articles 6 and/or 13 of the Convention. On 15 December 2021 their complaints were communicated to the Russian Government and, in respect of applications nos.   31445/18 and 31446/18, also to the Ukrainian Government (see Andriyevskiy and Others v. Russia and 229   other applications ). The Russian Government did not submit their observations, while the Ukrainian Government provided theirs on 3 February 2023. The applicants were required to submit their observations, together with any claims for just satisfaction (see details in the appendix). When the applicants had failed to submit their observations, by letters sent via the Court’s Electronic Communication Service (eComms) and/or by registered post, they were notified that the period allowed for submission of their observations had expired and that no extension of time had been requested (see appended table for further details). The applicants’ attention was drawn to Article 37 § 1 (a) of the Convention, which provides that the Court may strike an application out of its list of cases where the circumstances lead to the conclusion that the applicant does not intend to pursue the application. However, no response has been received. THE LAW Having regard to the similar procedural conduct of the applicants, the Court finds it appropriate to examine them jointly in a single decision. In the light of the foregoing, and in the absence of any special circumstances regarding respect for the rights guaranteed by the Convention and the Protocols thereto, the Court, in accordance with Article   37   §   1   (a) of the Convention, considers that it is no longer justified to continue the examination of the applications. Accordingly, the cases should be struck out of the list. The Court reiterates that under Article 37 § 2 of the Convention it may decide to restore an application to its list of cases if it considers that the circumstances justify such a course. For these reasons, the Court, unanimously, Decides to join the applications; Decides to strike the applications out of its list of cases. Done in English and notified in writing on 22 January 2026.   {signature_p_1}   {signature_p_2}   Viktoriya Maradudina   Faris Vehabović   Acting Deputy Registrar   President   APPENDIX List of applications: No. Application no.
