The applicants’ complaint against the above-mentioned measure was rejected with final effect by the Sibiu County Court on 20 March 2013. QUESTION tO THE PARTIES Has there been an interference with the right to respect for the applicants’ private life, within the meaning of Article 8 § 1 of the Convention, regarding their alleged continuous filming, by a video surveillance camera, during their pre-trial detention at the Sibiu Police Inspectorate between 27   February and 25 May 2009? If so, was this interference in accordance with the law and necessary in terms of Article 8 § 2 of the Convention (see Vasilică Mocanu v. Romania , no. 43545/13, § 40, 6 December 2016)?   The Government are invited to provide information on the legal basis of the applicants’ surveillance by video camera in the cells located on the police premises.
