The proceedings were initiated on 23 February 2012. The trial opened on 5 May 2014. Since then the proceedings have been pending before the first instance court. QUESTIONS TO THE PARTIES 1.     Has the applicant exhausted all effective domestic remedies, as required by Article 35 § 1 of the Convention in so far as his complaint under Article 6 § 1 is concerned? If so,   2.     Is the length of the criminal proceedings in the present case in breach of the “reasonable time” requirement of Article 6 § 1 of the Convention?
