Relying on Articles 8 and 13 of the Convention, the applicants complain that the restrictions imposed on them were unlawful and that they did not have an effective remedy at their disposal in respect of those restrictions as the domestic courts failed to properly examine their complaints. QUESTIONS TO THE PARTIES 1.     Has there been an interference with the applicants’ right to respect for their private and family life, or correspondence, within the meaning of Article   8 § 1 of the Convention? In particular, was there a restriction imposed on their right to visits by, and telephone conversations with, their family members and the outside world? If so, was that interference in accordance with the law and necessary in terms of Article 8 § 2? 2.     Did the applicants have at their disposal an effective domestic remedy for their complaint under Article 8, as required by Article   13 of the Convention?Citations
