It is to be noted that the issue of jurisdiction over the area where the incidents giving rise to the complaints allegedly took place has been examined and decided by the Grand Chamber of the Court in the case of Ukraine and the Netherlands v.   Russia ([GC], nos. 8019/16 and 3 others, §§ 327-66, 9 July 2025). The Grand Chamber’s finding will then be applied in these individual cases. In some applications, other complaints were raised. Their examination has been adjourned, or they have been struck out of the Court’s list of cases or declared inadmissible by the Court, sitting in a single-judge formation, assisted by a rapporteur as provided for in Article 24   §   2 of the Convention. In the enclosed table, whenever an applicant is referred to using initials, this indicates that the Court has authorised anonymity for that person, whose identity will not be disclosed to the public (Rule 47   §   4). When lodging the application with the Court, the applicant was awaiting for a surgery and rehabilitation in Switzerland.       25695/24 02/07/2022 Kostyantyn Oleksandrovych VASYLENKO 1988   Kostyantyn Oleksandrovych Vasylenko, 1988, the applicant 4 Metrobudivnykiv St, Kharkiv, Kharkiv region 02/04/2022 On 02/04/2022 at approximately 7 a.m. the applicant was near his car when a shelling was carried out on Kharkiv and one of the missiles exploded not far from the applicant, causing him injuries. According to the medical certificate dated 07/04/2022 the applicant sustained mine-explosive injuries and non-penetrating blind shrapnel wounds to the soft tissues of the chest, left thigh and lumbar area.       25826/24 01/07/2022 Oleksandr Sergiyovych KRAVCHENKO 1999   Oleksandr Sergiyovych Kravchenko, 1999, the applicant Apartment no. 1 at 10 Tretiy Bohunskyy passage, Zhytomyr, Zhytomyr region 01/03/2022 On 01/03/2022, three missile rockets struck the yard of the building where the applicant resided. As a result of the shelling, the applicant sustained a closed multi-lamellar fracture of the left patella, with displacement of the fracture fragments. The applicant provided a medical certificate dated 05/03/2022, a certificate on destruction of property issued by the Zhytomyr City Council dated 05/03/2022 and photos of destroyed property.       25840/24 05/08/2022 Lyubov Maksymivna ALIKSIYENKO 1950   Lyubov Maksymivna Aliksiyenko, 1950, the applicant 16 Verykivskoho St, Irpin, Kyiv region 27/03/2022 On the night of 26/03/2022 and 27/03/2022 a missile struck the private house where the applicant lived. As a result, the applicant sustained mine-explosive trauma, which shrapnel going through her both shins, and partial damage to the right cerebral hemisphere. From 27/03/2022 to 11/04/2022 the applicant was treated as an inpatient. The applicant provided medical certificates dated 11/04/2022 and 06/05/2022; a fire report dated 17/06/2022; photos of the destroyed house; a police report dated 17/06/2022; and a screenshot confirming the lodging of complaint no. 943527 with the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.       25907/24 13/08/2022 Bogdan Borysovych TITKOV 1986   Bogdan Borysovych Titkov, 1986, the applicant 14 Monyushka St, Kharkiv, Kharkiv region 03/04/2022 On 03/04/2022 following a shelling, the applicant’s injured body was found at 14 Monyushka Street in Kharkiv. According to the documents submitted by the applicant, he was hospitalised with numerous fractures, wounds, and multiple blind gunshot and shrapnel injuries. The applicant lodged a complaint with the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor’s Office on 01/08/2022.       26257/24 04/07/2022 Nataliya Volodymyrivna GORBACH 1979   Nataliya Volodymyrivna Gorbach, 1979, the applicant School no. 21 at 5 Tsymbalista St, Chernihiv, Chernihiv region 03/03/2022 On 27/02/2022 the applicant, her husband, and their children decided to seek shelter in the bomb shelter located at School No. 21 (5 Tsymablista Street, Chernihiv). They were hiding there to protect themselves from the shelling. On 03/03/2022, at approximately 12:10 p.m., a missile struck the school where the applicant was hiding. The applicant was rescued from the ruins by a man allegedly serving in the local territorial defence and was taken to the 2nd City Hospital in Chernihiv. From 03/03/2022 to 15/03/2022, the applicant underwent inpatient treatment for mine-explosive trauma, brain contusion, multiple wounds to the scalp, right side of the face, right ear, right upper limb, and the posterior surface of the chest. After being discharged from the hospital, volunteers assisted the applicant and her family in relocating to a safer place in the Chernihiv region. The applicant’s health did not improve, and she continued to feel unwell. She visited a local hospital, where she was diagnosed with post-mine-blast-trauma, brain contusion, and other post-traumatic disorders. She underwent additional inpatient treatment from 11/04/2022 to 20/04/2022. The applicant provided medical certificate dated 15/03/2022; medical certificate dated 20/04/2022; police report dated 28/06/2022 and photos from the hospital.       27542/24 08/08/2022 Tetyana Viktorivna SYDORCHUK 2004   Tetyana Viktorivna Sydorchuk, 2004, the applicant Private house at 1 Otradna St, Nova Dofinivka, Odesa region 08/05/2022 On 08/05/2022 a missile struck a location near the house where the applicant lived. Due to the shelling the applicant sustained a cut wound to the left foot, a cut wound to the right shin, and multiple wounds to the lower extremities. The applicant provided a medical certificate dated 08/05/2022.       28463/24 13/07/2022 Nataliya Volodymyrivna RESHETNYKOVA 1962   Nataliya Volodymyrivna Reshetnykova, 1962, the applicant Shopping center “Megatsentr” at 47 Myru Ave., Chernihiv, Chernihiv region 17/03/2022 On 17/03/2022, the applicant visited a shopping centre to purchase medication. At around 10 a.m., an artillery shelling began, resulting in the applicant sustaining a shrapnel injury to her right leg. She received initial medical assistance at a local hospital on the same day. However, the wound had not healed until in April she returned to the hospital to have the shrapnel removed. For 21 days following the injury, the applicant underwent hospital treatment. The applicant provided a medical certificate dated 06/04/2022 and photos of the injury.       28697/24 06/08/2022 Andriy Oleksandrovych GARAYEV 1973   Andriy Oleksandrovych Garayev, 1973, the applicant Zvyazku St, Kotelnykivska St, Kharkiv, Kharkiv region 07/04/2022 On 07/04/2022, at approximately 2:30 p.m., while the applicant was returning home by bicycle along Zvyazku Street, which intersects with Kotelnykivska Street (where his residence is located), he sustained injuries from missile shells that struck his building. Near the building, he found his deceased neighbour and her injured daughter. Shortly afterwards, an ambulance took him to the hospital, where he underwent surgery and remained until 11/04/2022. From 14/04/2022 to 26/04/2022, he continued inpatient treatment at a hospital in the Lviv region. He provided the relevant supporting medical documents. On 14/07/2022 the applicant lodged a complaint with the Security Service of Ukraine (‘SBU’) regarding his injuries and the damage to his apartment. The applicant provided the following evidence: an extract from the inpatient medical record confirming that he was hospitalised from 07/04/2022 to 11/04/2022 with the diagnosis of gunshot shrapnel wounds to both lower legs, thighs, the lateral abdominal wall, and the lower back; an extract from the discharge summary confirming his hospitalisation from 14/04/2022 to 26/04/2022; photos of the damaged apartment building; a complaint to the SBU dated 14/07/2022; an extract from the register of pre-trial investigations confirming the registration of the complaint regarding his injuries and the damage to his apartment; a complaint to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation dated 19/07/2022; and screenshots showing the submission of his complaint to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Art. 8 (1) – interference with the right to home - the applicant complained that on 07/04/2022 the apartment where he resided (apartment no. 16 at 11 Kotelnykivska Street, Kharkiv) was damaged as a result of missile shelling (damaged balcony, broken windows, and damaged furniture in the child’s room). The applicant provided photos of the damaged apartment. This apartment was applicant’s home as confirmed by a residence registration certificate issued by Kharkiv City Council.   28860/24 12/09/2022 Petro Vasylyovych YAKYMCHUK 1969   Petro Vasylyovych Yakymchuk, 1969, the applicant Peremohy Sq., Vinnytsia, Vinnytsia region 14/07/2022 On 14/07/2022, the applicant was injured when a "Kalibr" missile struck a building close to the ‘House of Officers’ at Peremohy Square in Vinnytsia. According to the applicant, the shelling took place at 10:40 a.m., and at that moment he was 50 metres from the House of Officers in Vinnytsia. The applicant sustained the following injuries: brain concussion; blind gunshot explosive shrapnel wounds to the upper third of the right lower leg, the left shoulder and the right forearm; cochlear neuritis; otitis. The applicant lodged a complaint with the Ukrainian police on 16/07/2022. The applicant provided medical certificates dated 29/07/2022 and 25/08/2022 confirming the injuries.     29906/24 02/08/2022 Olena Mykolayivna ALYEKSYEYEVA 1974   Olena Mykolayivna Alyeksyeyeva, 1974, the applicant 21 Dostoyevskoho St, Lysychansk, Luhansk region 16/05/2022 On 16/05/2022 at 3 p.m. a missile struck the applicant’s garden, resulting in the applicant sustaining bodily injuries. As it was not possible to call an ambulance, the applicant bled for two hours until a neighbour took her to the hospital. From 16/05/2022 to 27/05/2022, the applicant was hospitalised for inpatient treatment with a diagnosis of gunshot wound to the right shoulder and chest contusion. The applicant provided her passport, a medical discharge summary confirming the diagnosis of a gunshot wound to the right shoulder, and the hospitalisation period from 16/05/2022 to 27/05/2022, as well as a medical certificate dated 16/05/2022.     30480/24 12/08/2022 Oleksiy Olegovych PARAKONNYY 1989   Oleksiy Olegovych Parakonnyy, 1989, the applicant 8 Teatralna St, Mykolaiv, Mykolaiv region 15/04/2022 On 15/04/2022, at approximately 10:25 a.m., while the applicant was in a park near the temple located at Teatralna Street in Mykolaiv, he was injured as a result of a Russian missile shelling containing cluster munitions. From 15/04/2022 to 19/05/2022, the applicant was hospitalised for inpatient treatment with a diagnosis of shrapnel wounds to the anterior abdominal wall and multiple shrapnel wounds to the lower limbs and underwent numerous surgeries. Subsequently, on 10/08/2022, the applicant was recognised as a person with a disability as a result of the above injuries. He provided relevant medical documents in this regard including the following evidence: his passport; an extract from the register of pre-trial investigations concerning the initiation of criminal proceedings related to the shelling in Mykolaiv, including injuries sustained by the applicant; a discharge summary from the inpatient medical record confirming that he was hospitalised from 15/04/2022 to 26/04/2022; an outpatient medical record summary confirming that he was hospitalised from 26/04/2022 to 19/05/2022; a letter from the local police dated 14/07/2022, informing the applicant that on 16/04/2022, he was acknowledged as a victim in criminal proceedings initiated on 15/04/2022; screenshots of the applicant’s submission to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation; a certificate of disability (first group) of 10/08/2022; an individual rehabilitation program for a person with a disability dated 10/08/2022; a written explanation from the applicant’s wife regarding the shelling during which the applicant was injured; receipts for the purchase of medications; photos of the applicant’s injuries.     30577/24 25/07/2022 Olena Volodymyrivna SEMENOVA 1978   Olena Volodymyrivna Semenova, 1978, the applicant Mariupol, Donetsk region 14/03/2022 On 14/03/2022, while the applicant and her children were on their way to a bomb shelter, they came under artillery shelling and the applicant sustained shrapnel injuries. From 14/03/2022 to 31/03/2022, the applicant remained in Mariupol and was unable to receive professional medical assistance due to the destruction of the local hospital and the intensity of the shelling. On 31/03/2022, the applicant managed to evacuate, and from 11/04/2022 to 22/04/2022, the applicant underwent inpatient treatment with a diagnosis of a mine-blast injury. The applicant provided a copy of her passport, medical certificate dated 22/04/2022, and police report dated 29/04/2022.     31107/24 27/06/2022 Vasyl Nazarovych LAVRENYUK 1954   Vasyl Nazarovych Lavrenyuk, 1954, the applicant Poltavskyy Shlyakh St, Kharkiv, Kharkiv region 27/02/2022 On 27/02/2022, the applicant and his friend were driving towards the Zalyutino district of Kharkiv city to collect goods for Ukrainian soldiers. While travelling along Poltavskyy Shlyakh Street, they were stopped near a checkpoint and informed that proceeding further was prohibited due to intense fighting in the area. As the applicant and his companion were retreating, at approximately 100-150 metres from the checkpoint they came under machine-gun fire. The car stopped, and the applicant lost consciousness. On the same day, he was taken to the Kharkiv district hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. He was then immediately transferred to Kharkiv regional hospital where he remained from 27/02/2022 to 22/03/2022. The applicant claimed that he was unconscious for 20 days and unable to breathe independently for 15 days during his hospitalisation. The applicant was diagnosed with multiple gunshot wounds to the head, right shoulder, right lower leg, and sternum, acute closed head injury, brain contusions, right lung contusions, and other injuries. He provided the following evidence: medical certificates dated 27/02/2022 and 22/03/2022; a video of the car and video of the shooting; photographs of himself in the hospital; a copy of the complaint lodged with the Ukrainian police dated 23/06/2022; and a screenshot confirming the lodging of complaint no. 930810 with the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.     31326/24 03/09/2022 Aurelian Pavlovych ZAYCHUK 1978   Aurelian Pavlovych Zaychuk, 1978, the applicant Near the village of Dementiyivka, Kharkiv region 27/06/2022 On 27/06/2022, while in the Kharkiv region near the village of Dementiyivka at approximately 6 p.m., the applicant sustained a mine-explosive injury as a result of alleged shelling by Russian forces. The applicant was hospitalised and diagnosed with the following injuries: a penetrating mine-explosive wound to the left shin, a fracture of the radius, acoustic trauma, a ruptured eardrum, nerve damage in the left leg, a fracture of the left wrist, and multiple shrapnel wounds to the body. The applicant began treatment in Kharkiv, was subsequently transferred to a hospital in Poltava, and later to Kyiv. The applicant provided medical documents and photos of the wounds.     32506/24 01/08/2022 Olga Viktorivna KLYBA 1973   Olga Viktorivna Klyba, 1973, the applicant Apartment no. 38 at 138 Nakhimova St, Mariupol, Donetsk region 16/03/2022 The applicant was allegedly injured by shelling on 15/03/2022. She provided a medical record from the hospital dated 12/04/2022, indicating wounds to her forearm, thigh and head. The applicant provided her passport registration stamp confirming residence in Mariupol and medical certificate dated 12/04/2022. Art. 3 - torture, inhuman or degrading treatment as a result of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine - the applicant complained that she and her family were deprived of the means necessary for a decent standard of living, including access to food, water, heating, and electricity in Mariupol.   33092/24 14/07/2022 Yuriy Eduardovych SKYBA 1954   Yuriy Eduardovych Skyba, 1954, the applicant 3/18 Sviato-Pokrovska St, Hostomel, Kyiv region 03/03/2022 On 03/03/2022, the applicant was injured by an explosion that occurred in his courtyard as a result of mortar shelling. He was hospitalised from 03/03/2022 to 05/04/2022 with various physical injuries, including explosive trauma to the forearm, blunt force injuries to both shoulders, and the presence of a foreign object in the shoulder. The applicant provided the following evidence: his passport; a medical record dated 05/04/2022, confirming the applicant’s hospitalisation from 03/03/2022 to 05/04/2022; a victim’s notice of procedural rights and duties dated 04/05/2022; and a photograph (surgical stitches on his body).     33106/24 25/07/2022 Dmytro Viktorovych ZAGOROVSKYY 1987   Dmytro Viktorovych Zagorovskyy, 1987, the applicant Stanislav, Kherson region 26/03/2022 On 26/03/2022 at approximatively 2 p.m., the applicant was returning home from a local shop, when a shell exploded in close proximity to him. As a result, he sustained physical injuries. The applicant was hospitalised with open gunshot-related comminute fractures of the upper left thighbone and the lower right thighbone. He also sustained multiple gunshot-related injuries to the soft tissues of the face, right shoulder, buttocks, lower legs and feet. He later developed complications, including post-traumatic neuropathy of the common peroneal nerve, resulting in paresis (partial paralysis) of the right foot. He remained in hospital in Kherson region from 26/03/2022 to 22/04/2022. The applicant provided the following evidence: his passport; a medical record, confirming the applicant’s hospitalisation from 26/03/2022 to 22/04/2022; a medical record, dated 03/05/2022, confirming the applicant’s hospitalisation from 27/04/2022 to 03/05/2022; and photographs of his injuries.     33392/24 02/07/2022 Sergiy Volodymyrovych PODTERGER 1965   Sergiy Volodymyrovych Podterger, 1965, the applicant 15 Chornovola St, Chernihiv, Chernihiv region 03/03/2022 The applicant claimed that on 28/02/2022, the city of Chernihiv had been subjected to continuous shelling by the Russian Federation, including targeted strikes on civilian infrastructure. On 03/03/2022, while he was driving, an aerial bomb exploded nearby. As a result of the explosion, the applicant sustained explosive trauma, a shrapnel wound to the neck, and a contusion. The applicant’s vehicle was destroyed.The applicant provided the following evidence: a medical record dated 05/03/2022, confirming the applicant’s hospitalisation from 03/03/2022 to 05/03/2022; a medical record dated 29/06/2022; photographs (showing neck and face injuries, a destroyed car, and bullet damage to the car); an application to the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation dated 01/06/2022; a handwritten police complaint and a police interview report, both dated 28/06/2022; a notification from the Ukrainian police confirming the registration of the applicant’s complaint and its joinder to the criminal proceedings initiated on 28/02/2022; a certificate, issued by the local police dated 28/06/2022, confirming that he had been recognised as a victim in the criminal investigation opened on 28/02/2022.     33728/24 24/08/2022 Mykola Vasylyovych BARANOVSKYY 1969   Mykola Vasylyovych Baranovskyy, 1969, the applicant Train station “Malyn”, Malyn, Zhytomyr region 22/05/2022 The applicant is a train driver. When the applicant and his assistant arrived at the track of Malyn station by train on 22/05/2022, the railway station and the train came under missile attack. As a result of the shelling, the applicant sustained injuries. The applicant provided the following evidence: his passport; his employment record book, indicating that he was employed by the Ukrainian Railways and, as of 10/08/2022, he continued to be employed; a medical record dated 22/05/2022; a medical record dated 27/05/2022, confirming physical injuries and hospitalisation from 22/05/2022 to 27/05/2022 with the following diagnosis: acoustic barotrauma; blast injury; closed craniocerebral trauma; contusion; an act of special investigation of the accident issued by the State labour service directorate in the Zhytomyr region dated 16/06/2022; a complaint with the SBU dated 04/08/2022; an extract from the register of pre-trial investigations dated 19/08/2022, confirming the registration of the complaint lodged on 22/05/2022.     34358/24 17/07/2022 Anatoliy Ivanovych KHMELENOK 1954   Anatoliy Ivanovych Khmelenok, 1954, the applicant Dotsenka St, Chernihiv, Chernihiv region 16/03/2022 On 16/03/2022, at approximately 10 a.m., the applicant was standing in a queue for bread near the “Soyuz” store on Dotsenka Street in Chernihiv when an artillery strike took place. As a result, the applicant sustained a blast injury, including multiple lacerated and torn wounds to the left ear and surrounding area, a shrapnel fracture of the lower jaw branch, and damage to the bone of the external auditory canal. The applicant was immediately hospitalised and remained in care until 13/04/2022. According to the medical certificate dated 04/04/2022 provided by the applicant, she received medical treatment in Kulykivka village hospital from 25/03/2022 to 04/04/2022 (for gunshot shrapnel wounds to the soft tissues of the right thigh and forearm, diffuse cardiosclerosis, hematomas of the anterior abdominal wall and pelvis). The applicant also provided a copy of her passport with the residence registration stamp in Chernihiv dated 28/03/1978.     34514/24 18/08/2022 Dzhumakul Rakhmetovych KURBANOV 1970   Dzhumakul Rakhmetovych Kurbanov, 1970, the applicant ‘Barabashovo’ market, Kharkiv, Kharkiv region 21/07/2022 The applicant worked as a loader at the ‘Barabashovo’ market in Kharkiv. On 21/07/2022, the ‘Barabashovo’ market was shelled, and the applicant was injured. The applicant suffered shrapnel wounds and a fractured finger. He provided the following documents: his passport; a medical certificate dated 27/07/2022; and a copy of the hand x-ray.     34561/24 01/07/2022 Sergiy Viktorovych VLASENKO 1967   Sergiy Viktorovych Vlasenko, 1967, the applicant 10 Proskury St, Kharkiv, Kharkiv region 30/03/2022 On 30/03/2022, while the applicant was passing nearby, a residential building in the city of Kharkiv was shelled with GRAD MLRS. The applicant was subsequently hospitalised and diagnosed with combined mine-blast trauma, a penetrating wound to the right side of the chest, contusion of the right lung, a superficial shrapnel wound to the chin area, and a blind shrapnel wound to the upper third of the left thigh. The applicant provided a medical record stating that he was hospitalised from 30/03/2022 to 11/04/2022.     34711/24 23/07/2022 Olena Mykhaylivna NOVIKOVA 1970   Olena Mykhaylivna Novikova, 1970, the applicant Zhmerynska St, Kyiv, Kyiv region 24/03/2022 On 24/03/2022 the Russian Armed Forces allegedly conducted a missile strike on the residential districts of Kyiv. As a result, the applicant sustained bodily injuries. According to the medical records provided, on 24/03/2022 the applicant was hospitalised with mine trauma, including suffering multiple blind shrapnel wounds to the torso, head, chin; a penetrating shrapnel wound to the left chest; a deep wound to the left lung; a contusion of the left lung; fractures of the 3rd and 4th ribs; and traumatic shock of the 2nd degree. She was discharged from the hospital on 31/03/2022. The applicant lodged a complaint with the Ukrainian police on 13/04/2022.     34866/24 08/07/2022 Yegor Veniaminovych BUDULENKO 1991   Yegor Veniaminovych Budulenko, 1991, the applicant Nalyvaikivka, Bucha district, Kyiv region 06/03/2022 The applicant claimed that on 06/03/2022, he sustained severe bodily injuries as a result of the alleged airstrike carried by the Russian occupying forces on the city of Nalyvaikivka. The applicant provided the following evidence: his passport; a medical record confirming his physical injuries and hospitalisation from 07/03/2022 to 22/03/2022; a complaint lodged with the Ukrainian police and an extract from the register of pre-trial investigations dated 22/03/2022; a medical certificate stating that he was hospitalised from 22/03/2022 to 15/04/2022 with the following diagnosis: bruises and abrasions of the left thigh, a blind shrapnel wound of the left thigh with a foreign object present, shrapnel injuries to the right shoulder, a bone fracture, an amputation of the finger; a medical record confirming that he was hospitalised from 27/04/2022 to 16/05/2022; medical certificate confirming the applicant’s disability dated 14/06/2022.     35326/24 07/07/2022 Dmytro Sergiyovych ILYUSHCHENKO 1979   Dmytro Sergiyovych Ilyushchenko, 1979, the applicant Mayaky, Donetsk region 03/06/2022 On 03/06/2022 during the artillery shelling of Mayaky village the applicant was injured. He sustained multiple head injuries and third-degree brain contusion. On the same day the applicant underwent surgery in the city of Dnipro. The applicant provided a medical certificate dated 05/06/2022 and photos of injuries.     35399/24 01/07/2022 Nadiya Mykhaylivna TARASENKO 1938   Nadiya Mykhaylivna Tarasenko, 1938, the applicant 11 Radhospna St, Kapustyne, Mykolayiv region 09/03/2022 On 06/03/2022 the applicant’s village was allegedly shelled by Russian artillery. The applicant was injured after an explosion which occurred near his house. On 12/03/2022, after fleeing the scene, the applicant was hospitalised with brain concussion, hematoma of the forehead, and radius bone fracture. The applicant provided extracts from the medical records and photographs.     35595/24 20/07/2022 Maryna Mykhaylivna RUDENKO 2002   Maryna Mykhaylivna Rudenko, 2002, applicant 125A Tolstoho St, Chernihiv, Chernihiv region 19/03/2022 On 19/03/2022 the applicant was visiting her relatives when between 11:30 to 11:40 a.m. the city came under shelling. She sustained shrapnel wounds to the stomach and hand. She was hospitalised on 19/03/2022 and discharged from the hospital on 03/04/2022 (medical certificate dated 03/04/2022).     36025/24 08/07/2022 Oleksiy Volodymyrovych NOSENKO 1963   Oleksiy Volodymyrovych Nosenko, 1963, the applicant 121 Budivelnykiv Ave., Mariupol, Donetsk region 13/03/2022 On 13/03/2022 at 4 p.m., while he was cooking over a fire in the garden of his apartment building (121 Budivelnykiv Ave., Mariupol, Donetsk region), the area was shelled, causing injuries to the applicant. Due to the lack of medical assistance because of the shelling, the applicant stopped the bleeding himself with a tourniquet and bandage. After arriving in Ivano-Frankivsk, he received medical care. From 27/03/2022 to 22/04/2022 he was hospitalised with an open gunshot fracture of the left foot, complicated by suppuration, and from 23/04/2022 to 19/05/2022, he received outpatient treatment. On 26/06/2022 he submitted an online application to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. The applicant submitted the following documents: his passport, an extract from the medical record confirming his hospitalisation from 27/03/2022 to 20/04/2022, and a screenshot of his online application to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation dated 26/06/2022.     36099/24 08/07/2022 Valentyna Eduardivna IVASHCHENKO 1973   Valentyna Eduardivna Ivashchenko, 1973, the applicant Pyrohova St, Chernihiv, Chernihiv region 17/03/2022 On 17/03/2022, at 9:30 p.m., a rocket struck the yard of the blood transfusion station at Chernihiv City Hospital No. 1, located on Pyrohova Street, where the applicant was standing in a queue for water. As a result, the applicant sustained injuries and was immediately hospitalised. She was diagnosed with a mine-explosive shrapnel wound to her right lower limb, including a fibula fracture, and damage to the common fibular nerve, as well as traumatic neuropathy of the nerve. The applicant remained in the hospital from 17/03/2022 to 22/04/2022. The applicant provided the following documents: her passport; excerpt from her medical record confirming her injuries and dates of her inpatient treatment from 17/03/2022 to 22/04/2022. Art. 3 - torture, inhuman or degrading treatment as a result of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine - the applicant complained that, due to the siege and shelling of Chernihiv by the Russian Federation, she and her family were deprived of access to water, heat, and electricity.   36121/24 08/07/2022 Valentyna Vasylivna PRAKHNITSKA 1957   Valentyna Vasylivna Prakhnitska, 1957, the applicant Konovaltsia St, Boyarka, Kyiv region 26/03/2022 On 26/03/2022, at 10 a.m., while the applicant was on her way to buy bread, a missile struck a residential area on Konovaltsia Street in Boyarka. As a result, the applicant sustained injuries and was urgently hospitalised and diagnosed with a sacral fracture, an open wound in the lower back and pelvic area, and a postoperative seroma in the sacral region. The applicant was discharged from the hospital on 27/05/2022. On 04/06/2022 the applicant lodged a complaint with the Ukrainian police. The applicant provided the following documents: her passport; a witness statement of 27/06/2022; an extract from the inpatient medical record confirming the dates of hospitalisation and the diagnosis; photos of her wounds; receipts for medication purchases at the pharmacy; and an extract from the Ukrainian Register of Criminal Investigations dated 27/03/2022, confirming the applicant’s complaint lodged on 04/06/2022.     36405/24 20/07/2022 Erkin Ishmuratovych NAZAROV 1964   Erkin Ishmuratovych Nazarov, 1964, the applicant Private house at 74 Striletskoyi dyviziyi St, Irpin, Kyiv region 23/03/2022 The applicant was injured during a shelling carried out on 23/03/2022. He provided a medical record from the hospital dated 27/04/2022, indicating his hospitalisation from 23/03/2022 to 27/04/2022. The medical record lists shrapnel injuries to the chest wall, forearm, shoulder, abdominal wall, and left thigh. In addition, it notes multiple bone fractures, open fracture wounds of the limbs, and amputation of the right lower limb. The applicant provided photographs of himself in a wheelchair. He also submitted his photographs from several years ago, confirming that he did not have this injury at the time. Additionally, he also provided photographs which depict damage to his home caused by shelling, including bullet marks on the walls and debris in the yard. He further submitted his passport registration stamp, and a certificate of the Irpin City Council confirming his residence in Irpin at the relevant time.    Citations
