Ireland ). Certain documents, such as the “Recommendation on the establishment of the Court” (1958), have been declassified by the Court's President, Jean-Paul Costa, so that they can be added to the site.   - An overview of 50 years of activity and developments can be gleaned from various reference documents including: preparatory work of the Convention, simplified version of the Convention, annual report on execution of judgments, case-law information, amendments to the Convention and Rules of Court, and reports on future reforms of the Court.   - The website’s visual identity is enhanced by an anniversary logo representing the Human Rights Building, with underneath a reminder that the Court has 50 years of achievements behind it, and that, with its continuity as a respected institution guaranteed, it is moving forward on the strength of its history.   The Court is depicted by the transparent image – full of symbolism – of its glass-fronted building in Strasbourg, also resembling the scales of justice with its central public entrance hall flanked by its two cylindrical hearing rooms.   ***   Future additions to the website will regularly be announced in the RSS feeds.   ***   Press contacts Stefano Piedimonte (telephone : 00 33 (0)3 90 21 42 04) Tracey Turner-Tretz (telephone : 00 33 (0)3 88 41 35 30) Paramy Chanthalangsy (telephone : 00 33 (0)3 88 41 28 30) Kristina Pencheva-Malinowski (telephone : 00 33 (0)3 88 41 35 70) Céline Menu-Lange (telephone : 00 33 (0)3 90 21 58 77)   The European Court of Human Rights was set up in Strasbourg by the Council of Europe Member States in 1959 to deal with alleged violations of the 1950 European Convention on Human Rights.  Citations
