Sweden (application no. 41827/07) The applicant, R.C., is an Iranian national, born in 1965, who has been seeking asylum in Sweden since his arrival there in October 2003. His requests refused, the Migration Board has most recently stayed the enforcement of a deportation order against him following the European Court of Human Right’s indication to the Swedish Government under Rule 39 (interim measures) of its Rules of Court that the applicant should not be deported until further notice.
