When Protocol 14 to the Convention on Human Rights comes into force on 1 June 2010, that term will be extended automatically to nine years.   Ms Yudkivska was born in 1973. She trained as a lawyer, has a Ph.D. in law and has been adviser to the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights since 2009.
