In the applicants’ submission, while being interviewed, some witnesses stated that on the night of 6   November 2001 several military servicemen had come to Serzhen-Yurt in an APC to get some water

The applicant was deprived of water. During this period, he was threatened with rape if he told anything about the ill-treatment to his lawyer.

There was a fire hose from which cold water was pouring on him all the time. 13 .

As a result of another seizure, he had inadvertently poured hot water over himself. The inmates had also submitted that he often talked to himself or with an imaginary interlocutor.

demonstrators who had been arrested; in particular, the witnesses declared that the demonstrators had passed the barriers at the UN observation post, broken the wooden door of a church and moved toward a water

The eyewitnesses did not see who had been injured and who had jumped into the water.
