On the same day, a judge at the Şırnak Magistrates’ Court ordered his detention on remand.

       As to Article 5, the applicant complains that he was deprived of his liberty due to the police custody which lasted 48 hours.

In total, the proceedings lasted for seven years and two and a half months before three judicial instances.

In some of the applications, complaints based on the same facts were also communicated under other provisions of the Convention.

On the same day she appeared first before the public prosecutor and subsequently before a substitute judge.

Proceedings for judicial review instituted on 15 November 1976: had lasted about two years and two months, but had gone through the various stages at a regular pace.

He was again treated for the same injuries and at the same hospital from 20 May to 4 June 1997 and later at the Kharkiv City Hospital from 9 June to 8 July 1997.

The second set lasted from 1998 to 6 October 1999.

  The Court noted that the proceedings at issue had lasted over seven and a half years.

On the same day an administrative offence record was issued in his respect stating that he had disobeyed an order of the police officers to go with them to a police station.
