The plaintiffs submitted their observations on this objection within the five-day period accorded to them pursuant to Article 785 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

The directors of two schools had refused to enrol their children on the grounds that they had not received instructions to this effect from the relevant ministry.

He had then called the police, who arrived soon after. When he had told them what had happened, the police had just replied that they had known A.N. very well.

Some of them stated that they bought ‘proper’ food at their own expense so that it could be prepared for them in the canteen.

The applicants also complained, relying on Article 6 of the Convention, that the courts had found against them. THE COURT’S ASSESSMENT 18.     The applicants maintained their complaints.

They were questioned in the presence of their lawyers and then released into their parents' charge. 17.

The applicants made use of those remedies and, once these were exhausted, they subsequently lodged their applications within the six-month time-limit. 16.
