He had told Carlo this and later telephoned Carlo from the pub to say that Mr Chambers was there. He had then left the pub for Carla Wedge’s flat.

    The applicants submitted that, if the settlements their fellow officers reached had applied to them, they too would have been re-evaluated for the years 2002-2004.

Their entreaties to the officers to tell them what was going on were met with the response that their father would tell them.
