They told them to be quiet, not to wake up the children and to produce their identity documents for a check.

The circumstances of the case The facts of the case, as submitted by the applicants and as they appear from the documents submitted by them, may be summarised as follows. 1.

They had received the essential part of their education and upbringing there, they mastered the language to the full and their education had been adapted to the Norwegian job market.

There were six inmates in the room, and they often changed.

The gendarmes then took the applicant to a place where they sprayed him with cold water.

They asked the prosecutor to assist them in obtaining the bodies of their relatives.

From there, with about 1,800 other migrants, they started a demonstration through the streets of the island.

The parties were then invited to submit any additional observations on the merits which they wished to make.   8.

The Government dispute these claims. The applicants state that they were both able to hear each other's screams and cries throughout their interrogation.

Their requests that their children be placed in the care of a different local authority and placed in the same home, and that they should be allowed to meet their children, were unsuccessful.

They also asked them how many men there were in the house and if there were any weapons, to which the eighteenth applicant replied in the negative. 46.
