On 4   April 2022 the applicant’s representative informed the Registry that the applicant had died and that none of his heirs had wished to pursue the application before the Court.

THE LAW The Court notes that the applicant died on 3 February 2017.

By letter dated 10 October 2014, the detention facility where the applicant had been serving the sentence informed the Court that the applicant died on 26 October 2012.

By letter of 29 December 2009, the applicant's lawyer informed the Registry that the applicant had died on 5 November 2009. There was no person expressing the wish to pursue the application.

The domestic court established that the applicant company’s claim was well-founded, but since the respondent had meanwhile died, and his successors were liable only up to the value of the inherited property

By a letter dated 28   April 2020 the Government informed the Registry that the applicant had died on 30 November 2018 and enclosed his death certificate.

On 16   September 2024 the Government informed the Registry that applicant had died on 22 June 2023.

On 30   October 2023 a letter sent by the Registry to the applicant’s attention was returned by the post on the grounds that the letter could not be delivered because the applicant had died.

In 2021 the nurse died and, consequently, the prosecutor discontinued the investigation.

On 29   September 2021 the applicant’s representative informed the Registry that applicant had died and that his application with the Court would not be pursued.

Having fled from the hospital, she died on 20 January 2020.

On 3   February 2022 the applicant’s representative informed the Registry that the applicant had died on 22 November 2021 and that his application to the Court would not be pursued.

On 27   March   2024 Ms Andreea Loghin, claiming to be the applicant’s daughter, informed the Registry that the applicant had died and that she intends to pursue the application before the Court

On 31 October 2023 the Government informed the Registry that the applicant had died.

On 1 February 2024 the Government informed the Registry that the applicant had died.

He died in hospital a few days later. The applicant initiated compensation proceedings against the Danish Prison Service in vain.

The letter returned with a postmark indicating that the applicant had died. No heirs have presented themselves to the Court to pursue the application.

On 16 December 2009 K. was released on parole from serving a criminal sentence and on 18 December 2010, while at liberty, he died of tuberculosis.
