Engin was taken away in an armoured vehicle at 4 a.m. and died at Ankara Hospital at 6.50 a.m.

They died shortly afterwards and the applicant unsuccessfully tried to inherit their real estate. He was involved in two sets of civil proceedings concerning the validity of the wills.

He was taken to hospital but died the next day.   The only eyewitnesses to the event were Lieutenant I.C., in whose office he was being questioned and Chief Sergeant H.B. and Mr D.O.

By letter of 15 April 2000, the applicant’s counsel informed the Court that the applicant had died and that his three adult children, who are his heirs, wished to pursue their father’s application.

They are the children and mother of Judith McGlinchey, who died in hospital on 3 January 1999, aged 31.

Antoni is the adopted son of Roser Puncernau Pedro (who died while the proceedings were still pending before the European Court of Human Rights) and Francesc-Xavier Pla Pujol (who died in 1996).

On 28 September 2004 the applicant’s wife, Mrs Katarzyna Zienkiewicz, informed the Court’s Registry that the applicant had died on 20   December   2000.

    On 15 July 2010 the Government informed the Court that they had learned that Homola és Csang Kft had been dissolved on 6 June 2001 and that Mrs Györgyné Kárpáti had died on 24 September 2004

On 10   July 2008 the first applicant learned that the former business associate had died in prison.

One of the applicants, Mr Mehmet Selim Demir, died on 22 February 2009. His wife and four children informed the Court that they wished to pursue the proceedings.

In 1951 the applicant’s father died. In 1955 another decision refusing the 1948 request was issued. This decision was also not served.

On 20 November 2006 S.J. was transferred to the Oil Workers’ Hospital where she died on the same day. B.

On 8 September 1987 the applicant was involved in a car accident in which two people died. On 17 August 1988 he was charged with a serious traffic offence.

    On 27   May 2019 the Government informed the Court that the applicant Ms Matveyeva had died on 16   June 2015.

The applicant, however, survived this but his mistress died. The post-mortem examination of her corpse revealed that she had died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

and closed the investigation with regard to other individuals for different reasons preventing the continuity of criminal proceedings (i.e. some of the charges were res judicatae, some of the suspects died

    On 7 September 2017 the Government informed the Court that they had learned from a submission by the applicant’s lawyer of 15 August 2017 that the applicant had died on 15 February 2016.

    In application no. 25631/09, one of the applicants, namely Ms Ayşe Güler died on 4 June 2012.

On 13 August 2004 the applicant’s daughter, Ms Halina Persak, informed the Court’s Registry that the applicant had died on 30 March 2004.
