In the night from 3 to 4 July 2001 Mr Gavrikov died in an aeroplane crash. The plane was owned and operated by the public company “VladivostokAvia” (“the air carrier”).

    The applicant died in July 2007. On 26 February 2008 the Chamber decided that the applicant’s sister could take over his application before this Court.

On 19 February 2009 Robert Kolompar died. On 30 March 2009, despite an objection of the defence, the criminal file no. 119/08 concerning the case of Robert Kolompar was read out at the trial.

    The applicant, Mr Kolesnikov, (application no. 35105/10) died while the case was pending before the Court.

Since the victim of the ill-treatment died just after the incident, it was the applicant who has been seeking an effective investigation into her son’s ill-treatment for several years at domestic level

Further correspondence with the civil registry office revealed that T.Y. had died in 1991, while O.B.Y. was still alive and residing in the United States. 9.

He was then referred to the Lice State Prosecutor who informed him that K.A. had died in a clash between security forces and the PKK.

He died on the same day in the detention facility. 9 .     On the same date the investigator took statements from Doctor M. and S.

    The fifth applicant, Mr Harry Asseoff, died on 28 August 2007. His heirs, Ms Rachel Asseoff and Mr David Asseoff, expressed their wish to pursue his application before the Court. 3.

On 23 September 2007 the applicant died. On 3   December 2007 Mr Vääri made an application to a notary declaring that he was the applicant’s sole heir and accepted the succession.

However, 15 minutes later BJ died. The applicant called the emergency service again. The second team declared BJ dead.

  He was transferred to Ljubljana Clinical Centre, where he died on 19   May   1993.

On 16 August 2004 the applicant’s son, Mr Andrzej Turłowicz, informed the Court’s Registry that the applicant had died on 18 June 2004.
