By a judgment of 28 April 2016, the Supreme Court partly overturned the District Court’s judgment and convicted both applicants on one count, but acquitted them on the other.

On 12   June 2015 the Zagreb Municipal Civil Court (successor of the Zagreb Municipal Court) ruled in favour of the insurance company and discontinued the applicant’s right to future instalments.

The Court has not received a response from the applicants accepting the terms of the declarations.
